This pattern has a natural hare's ear dubbing body, CDC hackle and a foam post that makes it highly buoyant. It works well throughout the day in the beginning of the season.
The target species are trout and grayling.
Size choice is dictated by the size of the natural insects that are imitated, but in Ciprian's experience sizes 12 and 14 tend to work in the widest range of conditions.
