This pattern works well during morning hatches but is best time in the evenings and on cloudy days. The target species are trout and grayling.
Hook size choice depends on the size of the insects that are found in the river. For example, in Adirondacks and Québec rivers size 12 and 14 work well, but on European rivers and Alberta's Old Man size 16 and 18 worked best for Ciprian.
