The best bead color acording to my experience for this fly is Silver and Gold for regular type of water when the fish are fresh, and Bronze & Copper for the situation when water is high pressured with fish more stressed. In all those situation dont forget a big influence over the bead color is the clarity of the water the color of the river bottom and how suny the day is.
