Smart Angling presents its live online fly tying class.
A lot more than tying demonstration of specific patterns, our session will teach you the principles, skills and techniques that will help you to design and craft your own effective patterns.
The lead instructor for our first session this season will be Ciprian Rafan.
Each session will run for approximately 90 minutes and will feature a live presentation by the instructor, followed by a live Q&A. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the instructor during the Q&A session.
All classes will be in ENGLISH.
Sessions will be held by Zoom: registered participants will receive the link and password by e-mail.
All sessions will be recorded, and registered participants will receive exclusive access to watch the recordings at their convenience.
The topic will be nymphs.
The session will focus on:
- selecting the right hooks and materials for specific techniques, fish and conditions
- the practical importance of size, dimensions, color, and profile
- techniques for tying durable nymphs
- adjusting tried and tested generic patterns to your fishing style and conditions
The session will concentrate on a specific category of flies known as nymphs.
You are welcome to set up your own vice, tie with the instructor and get direct feedback or just watch, listen and ask your questions.
The session will take place on February 22nd.
