A nymph variation of the classic Partridge and Orange wet fly pattern.
Nymph tied on Hanak 450BL Jig Superb hook, using Hanak tungsten bead and Hends materials.
The main target fish species are trout and grayling, but also an excellent option for chub, bass, and other freshwater fish. This is a very effective nymph, especially for rainbow trout.

The best bead colors for this pattern, in Ciprian's experience, are silver and gold for freshly stocked or unpressured fish, and bronze and copper for heavily fished waters. In any situation bead color choice should take into account the clarity of the water, the color of the river bottom and the light conditions.
